World Series 2011

Michael and I had the priviledge of attending Game 1 of the 2011 World Series. We had lots of fun and enjoyed hanging out with Kevin and Roach. Go Cards!

Arkansas Cotton

Jake in the cotton field near our house. They seem to pick the cotton really early here - or at least it seems like it is earlier than I remember it when I was little. He wasn't real sure what to think about his mommy letting him walk through these plants in the mud...but he participated :) Big thanks to our friend Brad who took the photos. They were great as usual.

Orange Beach 2011

We traveled to Orange Beach for a great vacation week! It was a long drive with lots of traffic, but we had a good time. Jake enjoyed the "big water" and playing in the sand. He learned that jellyfish "bite" and that waves splash.
















































Jake had a beachside pool to play in while enjoying the shade of our beach tent.











We also enjoyed wonderful ride to see the dolphins swim. Jake liked watching the "big pishes" swim. Sorry no dolphin pics to share from these cameras - but lots of pictures on the boat :)




And of course, we took the traditional beach photos! It is a little more challenging with three boys to get them all to look the same direction and smile at the same time. Good looking group!

Birthday Photos

Yes, Jacob is two years old!! And, yes, it takes me forever to update this blog with photos. We are too busy enjoying life with our little guy. These are a few photos from Jake's party. We celebrated in style at the WM Fieldhouse with a football themed party. The kids enjoyed playing with footballs, tackling dummies, and tractor tires. They also loved the big bouncy, house.

Snow Day Downtime

Since we are all at home for "snow days", I am finally clearing off my camera and sending pictures to be developed. I had about three months to catch up on. Thought I would take the time to upload some updated photos to the blog of Jacob Fischer. He is a wild and crazy guy who is super sweet, funny, and smart (if I do say so myself). We have got to go sledding (Arkansas style) on the levy. He liked the ride, but not the crash landing. Jake is also really enjoying his tent.
